Ostend
Ostend (Oostende) is a Belgian port and city in the Flemish province of West Flanders.
Tchaikovsky stayed at Ostend from around 22 July/3 August to 26 July/7 August 1861, as part of his first journey outside Russia, travelling as assistant to a colleague of his father, Vasilii Pisarev.
