Lobynskoe

Lobynskoe (Лобынское) is a village in the Leninskii region (Ленинский район) of Tula oblast (Тульская область) in the Russian Federation. During Tchaikovsky's lifetime it formed part of Tula district (Тульский уезд) and Tula province (Тульская губерния) in the Russian Empire.

Tchaikovsky visited Lobynskoe from 7/19 July to 8/20 July 1890, as a guest of the singer Nikolai Figner, who was to perform the role of Herman in The Queen of Spades.
