Tat'iana Tchaikovskaia

Niece of the composer (b. March 1883 in Tiflis; d. 26 March 1970 at Juan les Pips, France), born Tat'iana Anatol'evna Tchaikovskaia (Татьяна Анатольевна Чайковская, Tat'jana Anatol'jevna Čajkovskaja, Tat'yana Anatol'yevna Tchaikovskaya); during her first marriage she was known as Tat'iana Anatol'evna Venevitinova Татьяна Анатольевна Веневитинова, Tat'jana Anatol'jevna Venevitinova, Tat'yana Anatol'yevna Venevitinova; during her marriage as Baroness Ungern-Sternberg; and during her third marriage as Mrs Warren Crosse.

Tat'iana was the only child of the composer's brother Anatolii Tchaikovsky (1850–1915) and his wife Praskov'ia (b. Konshina, 1864–1956). She married for the first time to the diplomat Aleksei Vladimirovich Venevitinov (1875–1925), by whom she had three children: Vladimir; Elena; and Apollinariia. Her second marriage was to Baron Paul Ungern-Sternberg, by whom she had two more children: Margarita, and Maria. She married for the third and final time to the author Felix Warren Crosse.(b. 1892)
