Varvara NápravníkVarvara Eduardovna Nápravník (Ольга Эдвардовна Направник) was the daughter of the Czech conductor Eduard Nápravník and his wife Ol'ga, born in 1873. Tchaikovsky was on friendly terms with the whole Nápravník family, and often visited and corresponded with them. Varvara Nápravník died in 1942. |
