Leopoldine Lafitte

Tutor (b. 1830 ; d. 1929), known in Russia as Leopol'dina Karlovna Lafitte (Леопольдина Карловна Лафит, Leopol'dina Karlovna Lafit).

Leopoldine Lafitte was tutor to the Litke family (the composer's cousins), and later to Tatyana Tchaikovskaya (daughter of the composer's brother Anatoly and his wife Praskovya). She is buried in the Demyanovo Cemetery at Klin.
