Klin

Who are the actual owners of Klin?

Who (owner) gave the house to Tchaikovsky?

From whom did Tchaikovsky rent his house?

To quote from our page about Klin:

Tchaikovsky rented a spacious two-storey house at Klin from V. S. Sakharov from May 1892 until his death in October 1893, having previously rented accommodation in the nearby villages of Frolovskoe and Maidanovo. After the composer's death the house was purchased by Modest Tchaikovsky and Aleksei Sofronov, and converted into a commemorative museum.

The museum was taken over by the Soviet Government in the 1920s, and it remans a "State House-Museum".
